In my opinion the best podcast about art
Unpretentious , generous, supportive , enlightening, inspiring and funny.
Amy is brilliant!
I appreciate how Amy so uniquely combines her rigorous research, cross disciplinary creative interests and quirky real life observations to create really exciting connections in a fun and very genuine experience! I am always grabbing one of her anecdotes for my work- I love Amy!
The BEST art podcast I have yet to find!
I’m trying not to binge the episodes too much so they can last. So informative and inspirational, I’m so glad I found it!
Wonderful!
Amy’s honesty, humor & experience to speak to those of us who have been creating our way through the art world/s. Great deep dives into the messy spaces of making art. Love the Book Talks & her way with metaphors - she speaks my language!
Great!
This is a great podcast—unpretentious, admittedly geeky and just a great listen. Amy is always prepared, brings out candid and interesting conversation in guests and I really appreciate how I don’t feel like I want to slit my wrists—which is what most of artist focused podcasts do. Also—really loving John Berger episode and potentially a new podcast venture?—all the ‘canons’ one reads and then a revisiting and assessment of how they hold up or don’t!! Well done Amy!
Insight and Humor
I enjoy this podcast so much! Amy is a master of curiosity and investigation, and shares humorous insights and connections in a way that is endlessly entertaining. I’ve also picked up books she’s discussed and looked up artists that she interviews, and it’s all been very enriching. It’s the perfect accompaniment to time in the studio, highly recommend!
The best!!!!
I’ve been looking for a thoughtful, real and poignant podcast about the experience of being an artist, making art, and balancing life and navigating the “art world’ and this is it. So grateful! Thank you!!
